Healing Chronic Diseases with Reiki

Excerpt from the book The Living Handbook of Reiki

For chronic (long established) conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, etc, work on the following pattern:

• Full body Reiki for five or six consecutive days.
  
  Thereafter, Full body Reiki every alternate day, or three times a week, for a total of 21 healing sessions, and continue further as needed.
  
  
• If you can give 21 days consecutive healing that is very effective.

Either of the above procedures sets up a healing and cleansing cycle, at the end of which (21 days of actual touch healing which may take place over three weeks or longer), a major shift takes place internally, in the aura body and in the external life situation.

Sometimes the health benefits take time to filter down to the physical body - be patient. At the same time, remember that the healee must not be discouraged from taking other therapeutic measures as may be required.

Apart from full body Reiki, one must give additional Reiki to points listed below corresponding to the specific chronic condition. (See table below). Also note that for all disease conditions, the solar plexus, the root chakra, the heart chakra and the knees are always involved. These points are understood as needing Reiki even when not indicated in the listings below.
