Divine Reiki Light method of healing

Excerpt from the book The Living Handbook of Reiki

This meditation technique allows First Degree Reiki channels to send healing across time and space with almost the same effectiveness as Reiki-2 channels. Reiki-2's can use this method with the mystic symbols for more powerful effects.

Meditation Procedure

1. Mentally request Reiki to send you the Divine Reiki Light (DRL) (Do not specify any colour).
2. Intend and visualize that the DRL is entering your crown chakra from above and comes down through the third eye and throat chakras to your heart chakra.
3. Project the Divine Reiki Light (DRL) out from your front heart chakra in a cone-like fashion, like a flashlight beam and completely outside your aura in front to form a circle of light about half a meter (two feet) in diameter to cover the person, the intention, the situation. The healee visualized is naturally sufficiently small in size so as to be covered by the DRL.
4. Hold up your hands with palms facing outwards in the mudra of blessing, and intend that Reiki should also flow from your hands to heal and envelop the person por situation as visualized. As you do this, mentally thank Reiki, and intend: "Reiki please make [this person/situation] healed whole and complete, so it is, thank you, Thy will be done".
5. You can send healing this way to many people in a group.
6. The healing time through the DRL method varies from a few minutes to much longer.
7. Once you feel enough healing has been conveyed thank the DRL with the request: "Be with Reiki please".
8. The DRL method of healing is a very powerful method, especially when direct touch healing cannot be given. A Reiki-2 invoking the Divine Reiki Light with the mystic symbols can have the same effect as a Reiki-1 giving touch healing.
9. Sometimes after invoking the DRL for a healing, you may forget that you have done this or become distracted for a while, and then you will suddenly remember that some healee was in the DRL. This may be a few minutes or a few hours later - it doesnt matter. There will be no ill-effect. This event takes place because the healee needed that much healing.
10. The DRL can remain on continuously for 6 hours at a time, after which it disconnects and merges back with the Reiki within you. If you need to, you can immediately re-invoke the DRL after it terminates.

DRL Applications

You can send healing using the DRL method to persons, relationships, situations, past traumatic events, future events or anything you feel needs healing. This healing technique is not just positive thinking or imaging - it is empowered healing. A non-Reiki channel will get practically no results doing this. By the principle of energy following thought some benefit may be visible very very slowly, but essentially this is a Reiki-empowered procedure for Reiki channels.

You can also send Reiki to the whole world using this method, the political situation, the environmental crisis, anything that needs healing.

You can use the Divine Reiki Light method to heal the dead. Intend that the absent persons are there in the DRL as you last recall them and desire that they are healed, wherever they are. This will also heal the relationship between you and them thus healing your karma.
